Wendy's Author App Frequently Asked Questions Page
How did "Wendy's Author App" come to be an App?
Wendy's Author App was created for her by family members who recently started a software company dedicated to creating apps for the iOS platform. Read more at About Craes, LLC
Why do I get a blank white screen when I click on a link from the Sites or More Screens?
With both the Sites and More views, the app must communicate with our developer's website (latestcraes.com). The availability of these features depends on your device and it's connection to the Internet. You have to have a valid connection, either a cellular connection with a valid data plan, or on the wi-fi side. You can test your connection by using a browser app, such as Safari, or other apps that you know can access the Internet. In Safari, try hitting the website: http://www.latestcraes.com
If you can't - you'll have to take care of that before you'll be able to use these features.
If you can get to that website with Safari, then the Sites and More links should work, you just may have to give it some time. If the connection to the internet is slow it may take a while for the target site or link page to appear.
The App seems to crash now when I try to retrieve the "App User Reviews and Ratings" I reinstalled the app but no difference. What's up?
This means that there are comments and ratings for a new book that you haven't yet grabbed the cover art work for. In a future version this will be corrected to be handled more smoothly, but for now just go to the library, press "New Art" and give it a few seconds to download any new covers that have been posted by the author recently. The "App User Reviews and Ratings" should work after that.
The reinstall wasn't necessary but it didn't hurt. Just remember to look for "New Links" on the "More" page also.
In the library, I pressed "New Art" but nothing seems to happen
When you press "New Art"on the Library page, the app checks for new covers, new links to buy a book, and excerpts. We heard from one of our users that there is no feedback to you while that is happening. Our user, let's call him "Brody", suggested that the tab bar item should turn blue to indicate that it was pressed and something is happening. Brody is absolutely right. We'll fix that in a future version.

In the meantime, give it a few more seconds to download the cover art. If your internet connection is bad, it could take a while. If you've gotten into a situation where the download was interrupted, some funky things could start happening. If so, just delete the app and download it again from iTunes. That way you'll get a fresh start.
